VINYASA SUPERFLOW

Experience the speed, strength, power, concentration, breath focus, and calmness of Vinyasa Superflow at Zenang Yoga & More. If you are into movement, breath, and challenge, this class might be suitable for you. Vinyasa is derived from the Sanskrit term nyasa, which means "to place," and the prefix vi, "in a special way"—as in the arrangement of notes in a raga, the steps along a path to the top of a mountain, or the linking of one asana to the next. In the yoga world, the most common understanding of vinyasa is as a flowing sequence of specific asanas coordinated with the movements of the breath.

VINYASA

Vinyasa Yoga is a part of Ashtanga Yoga or Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement." Breathing is an essential part of this dance because the series of movements are performed synchronously with the breath. Generally, upward movements go with inhalations and downward movements with exhalations.

DYNAMIC YOGA EXPLORATION

Classical yoga postures are hard to do for most people. Therefore, practicing yoga safely means that you learn to adjust postures that suit your level and capacity. Dynamic Yoga is a good step towards regular, effective yoga practice for everyone. This form of yoga remains a challenge and an enrichment for experienced yogis. This is based on the methodology, combination of styles, and approach.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

This yoga style is primarily aimed at healing and restoring both mind and body through simple yoga postures that are often held for up to 20 minutes. Many attributes are used for this such as cushions, bolsters, and belts. It is similar to Yin Yoga, but in this yoga style, there is less emphasis on flexibility and more on deep relaxation and recovery. Restorative yoga is a good transition to get deeper into a meditation practice.

YIN YOGA

In Yin yoga, positions are held longer, so you have more time to explore and push your limits. You do not use your body to get into a posture, but you use the posture to feel better. It is, therefore, the relatively calm nature of a Yin yoga class that appeals to most participants. The lesson is just so nice because you don't have to move very intensively for a moment, but you can take the time for your body. The postures that you adopt with this form of yoga are primarily focused on strengthening and relaxing connective tissue and joints; they stretch deeper muscles and loosen the pelvic area.

HATHA YOGA

In Sanskrit, the term Hatha “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. Hatha Yoga is the most traditional yoga style and the basis on which the other yoga styles originated. The classic Hatha yoga asanas have been developed with the aim of stimulating the internal organs.

SURF YOGA

Surf Yoga is a bit like super yoga and surfing .... but then dry! You lie on an extra wide and convex surfboard that is wobbling on the floor. It is a true total-body workout, because you use your entire body. With Surf Yoga the elements of balance, balance and focus are strengthened. Because the board wobbles, you feel every move of your weight much better than when you are standing on a hard floor. Your balance, concentration and focus are therefore put to the test a lot. This is therefore a very good training and combination with Yoga.

WHEEL YOGA

The yoga wheel will immediately stretch your entire front side body – hip flexors, abdomen, chest, and shoulders. It’s a serious heart opener! It will massage the entire length of your spine in a safe but deep way. The wheel helps yoga practitioners move deeper into postures, specifically heart opening postures like back bends and forearm balances.

LITE YOGA

Lite Yoga can refer to a variety of types of yoga classes taught by teachers from various styles of yoga. Lite Yoga is often considered easier, less intense, non-strenuous, minimalist, quiet, meditative, or restorative. Generally speaking, Lite Yoga classes attempt to serve a variety of distinct needs: people with movement limitations, or profound stiffness due to lack of activity; relief from disabilities and chronic conditions e.g., arthritis, back pain and other musculo-skeletal issues; recovery from surgery, illness or injury; for seniors, new practitioners, women who are pregnant and those seeking stress-reduction or weight management. Lite Yoga approach has even been found to be an important compliment in programs to reverse heart disease or provide relief from the challenging conditions of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, as well as mood disorders.
