About the Event

Within this blissfull 2-hours of motion, you'll be fully guided to dive deep into external, dynamic, warming and upward energy of Yang yoga practice, represented by Power Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, followed by internal, passive, cooling, downward and slower practices of Yin, represented by Yin Yoga, followed by Restorative Yoga and closed by Yoga Nidra.

By balancing your Yin and Yang your energy flow will increase, giving you a peaceful balanced mind and body.

The Yang part:

The yang part (Power Yoga + Vinyasa Flow) consist of asana practice to strengthen body and mind. 

• Power Yoga will build internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility. 

• Vinyasa means ‘connection of movement and breath’. The vinyasa yoga poses are  linked together into a dynamic flow. During this practice, you will smoothly transition from pose to pose while building physical strength, endurance, and flexibility.

The Yin part:

The Yin part consist of Yin Yoga + Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra. 

• In Yin Yoga postures are held for 3-5 minutes, while the muscles are relaxed so that the connective tissue in the body is stimulated. Yin  Yoga has a positive effect on the organs, immune system, connective  tissue, muscles and joints. 

• Restorative Yoga uses props, like blocks and bolsters, to support you in different postures and help the body to relax and let go completely. The class is calm, grounding and restoring. It is highly suitable if you are healing from an injury, dealing with stress or burnout or want to relax deeply. 

• Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While the practitioner rests comfortably in savasana (corpse pose), this systematic meditation takes you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.

Pritha ontdekte yoga in 2007 nadat een vriendin haar meenam naar een les. Ze herinnert zich nog haar allereerste yogales zoals die gisteren was. Ze sprong in het onbekende, waar alle magie gebeurt. En deze magie gebeurt tot de dag van vandaag  nog steeds. En hier is ze nu, bereid om de magie die ze sindsdien heeft ontvangen te delen. Pritha's passie is om haar kennis te delen en haar studenten te ondersteunen om te groeien in yoga. Ze gelooft dat door yoga iedereen zijn hart kan openen en zijn bewustzijn kan vergroten en echt kan zijn wie hij al is.

De onderwijsfilosofie van Pritha is gebaseerd op zelfgenezing, het verbeteren van positieve vibraties in jezelf, mindfulness leven, het begrijpen van het belang van dankbaarheid in het leven dat zal leiden tot geluk in het leven als een gemeenschap, zowel op en naast de yogamat. Haar lessen staan bekend als leuk, positief uitdagend en tegelijk ontspannend. Van haar is bekend dat ze Thaise yogamassage inbrengt in haar klas - met volledige toestemming van haar studenten.

Pritha discovered yoga in 2007 after a friend took her to a class. She still remembers her very first yoga class as it was yesterday. She jumped into the unknown, where all the magic happens. And this magic still happens to this day. And here she is now, willing to share the magic she has since received. Pritha's passion is to share her knowledge and support her students to grow in yoga. She believes that through yoga anyone can open their heart and expand their awareness and really be who they already are.  Pritha's teaching philosophy is based on self-healing, improving positive vibrations in yourself, living mindfulness, understanding the importance of gratitude in life that will lead to happiness in life as a community, both on and off the yoga mat. Her classes are known for being fun, positively challenging and relaxing at the same time. She has been known to bring Thai yoga massage into her class - with full consent from her students.

Mijn naam is Bernanda Groot Nibbelink. Mijn yogadocent avontuur startte in 2007 toen ik de power yoga opleiding bij Tonnie Goes volgde. Het lesgeven groeide in mijn leven met mij mee. Na mijn eerste zwangerschap deed ik een opleiding yoga voor zwangeren en gaf ik een tijdje zwangerschapsyoga. Toen mijn kinderen weer wat groter waren volgde ik een workshop kinderyoga. Nu geef ik ook graag de rustige yogavormen zoals yin en yoga nidra en ook mindfulness. Ik vind het fijn  om anderen in mijn les tot zichzelf te zien komen en een rustmoment te  geven. Dat is waar ik het voor doe en waarom ik niet zonder zou willen.

My  name is Bernanda Groot Nibbelink. My yoga teacher adventure started in 2007 when I followed a power yoga teacher training. Teaching grew with me in my life. After my first pregnancy I followed a yoga training for pregnant women and I taught pregnancy yoga for a while. When my children grew up, I attended a children's yoga workshop. Now I also like to  teach the more calm yoga forms such as yin and yoga nidra and also mindfulness. In my lessons I love to see others come to themselves and I want to give them a moment of rest.
